There are two main blocks on a gene family detail page, the tree graph and the data panel. Each leaf node on a tree graph represents a gene. Each row of a data panel has information about a gene. The corresponding genes in the tree graph and in the data panel are aligned with each other. The meta data band at the top displays Family name (PANTHER ID), number of genes, number of organisms, and the taxonomic range of the family. Clicking on the "number of organisms" will show, in a popup, the following information: organisms included in the family, and for each organism the number of genes in the family. Pan the tree graph to move it around and use the vertical and horizontal scroll bars in the data panel to see more.
