There are two main blocks on a gene family detail page, tree graph and data panel. Each leaf node on a tree graph is a gene. Each row of a data panel has information about a gene. The same gene in the tree graph and in the data panel are aligned. The meta data band at the top displays Family name (PANTHER ID), number of genes, number of organisms, and the taxonomic range of the family. Clicking on the "number of organisms" will show, in a popup, the following information: organisms included in the family, and for each organism the number of genes in the family.
